Baahubali: The Conclusion China Box Office: Despite a 'very good' opening in China, the movie failed to elicit major sum at overseas box office

The last Aamir Khan film to release in China was PK, which was shown there across 4,000 screens last year and made over Rs 100 crore

The film opened across a massive number of 6000 screens in China, a first for an Indian movie. The film released alongside Jackie Chan's action comedy Skiptrace over a 4-day weekend. The epic-drama has since earned $0.63 million and collections are said to be steadily increasing

"My team has been sharing all the feedback with me to the content that has been released in China and the excitement they have for the film. It is so overwhelming," said Prabhas

"We love it when anyone asks this question. I can't count the number of times we get asked this. It is exciting not just for me but for the entire team. We feel elated that we could break the barrier of region and language," the director told PTI.

Baahubali has already been sold to over 30 international territories, including Latin America and Japan.Presently, the shooting of the second part of the film is under way. It is expected to hit the screens later this year or early next year
