Badal Visits Golden Temple

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has asked the Sikh high priests to look into the controversy surrounding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Golden Temple while wearing a cap.

Caught in the row over using image of the Golden Temple on the cover-page of its 'Youth Manifesto' superimposed with the election symbol broom, Aam Aadmi Party today accused SAD and Congress of being involved in hurting the religious sentiments of the people.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal along with Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and all his cabinet colleagues on Friday visited religious shrines here, including Sri Harimandir Sahib (Golden Temple).
