Richmond Villa-Sun City laddoo was bought for a record Rs 60.8 lakh in an auction in Hyderabad during this Ganesh festival

The famous 21-kg laddu prasadam (sacred offering) of Balapur Ganesh here fetched Rs 24.60 lakh in the auction held on Friday.

The centralised Ganesh idol immersion procession began in the city with religious fervor amid devotional chantings. According to city police over 15,000 policemen have been deployed for peaceful conduct of the immersion procession.
