Bandra Bus

Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis today officially handed over twenty-five Tata Starbus hybrid-electric buses to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority a.k.a. MMRDA. Developed indigenously by Tata Motors, the buses can be experienced on the Bandra Kurla Complex route.

The state Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has written a letter to the city police asking them to step up security around the Bandra bus depot, McDonald's restaurant in Andheri (West), the Jogeshwari flyover and Juhu beach. It is learnt that the men arrested for the August 1 Pune blasts planned to place bombs at these places between Navratri and Diwali.

Thousands of pilgrims will not be allowed to take Cement Road, which leads from bus stop opposite Mannat to Mount Mary Church, to maintain peace and quiet near the superstar's home.
