Lokayukta sleuths on Saturday unearthed assets worth over Rs 2.35 crore during raids on the premises of an Assistant Executive Engineer and his relative in Bangalore district in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

Just weeks after an NDTV sting exposed the involvement of sub-registrars in the land scam in Bangalore, the Karnataka Lokayukta today conducted raids in at least five sub-registrar offices in the city.
