Popular clubs in Karnataka may have to shed their dress code if the government agrees to turn into law the recommendation of a legislators' panel that all clubs should allow people "wearing decent clothes".

Three race horse owners were injured after about 25 Bangalore Turf Club workers allegedly assaulted them over a salary dispute on the premises of the Race Course here. The owners have been hospitalised and all the workers have been arrested, police said.

The Bangalore High Court has said the Bangalore Turf Club and race course must shift from its current location on Race Course Road to Doddajala, by September.
