Thailand's police chief says the Iranians who were arrested after accidentally exploding their rented home in Bangkok were plotting to attack Israeli diplomats.

Israeli officials ramped up accusations on Wednesday that Iran was launching covert attack plots, saying "sticky" bombs found in a Thai house rented by Iranians were similar to devices used against Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia.

Thai police have arrested two Iranian men. After the blast, two Iranians fled the scene, a third named Saeid Moradi, had his legs blown away when he tried to throw a grenade at police that fell on ground and backfired on him.
