Bangle Units

The Air Intelligence Unit of the Mumbai Customs today arrested two French nationals for smuggling gold at the international airport in Mumbai.

Six-year-old Babu's (name changed) face was shining with sparkles he was embellishing bangles with and has been working for almost 15 hours when he was rescued from a bangle-making unit in West Delhi, a few years ago. He was barely able to recollect his parents' names.

A pre-dawn cordon and search operation for illegal weapons, following an Intelligence Bureau (IB) alert, led the Hyderabad Police to stumble upon a three-storeyed building in the Bhavani Nagar area where over 200 minor children from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh (UP) were found huddled in four rooms in pathetic conditions.
