A cab driver died after his vehicle was hit from behind by a car driven by a Delhi Police constable under the Barapulla flyover in the south-eastern part of the city, officials said on Saturday.

A 30-year-old woman died and her husband was injured after falling off the Barapula Flyover in Delhi. Their bike was hit by a car, police said Monday.

A minor's body, chopped in to several pieces and put in two bags was found in a drain under the Barapulla flyover, police said on Tuesday. They have said that the girl was killed by her boyfriend, who suspected she was cheating on him.

An alleged supplier of illegal arms and ammunition, carrying a reward of Rs one lakh on his arrest, was apprehended today from the Sarai Kale Khan area here, police said.

The National Green Tribunal has prohibited construction work on the third phase of Barapullah elevated road in Delhi which connects Sarai Kale Khan with Mayur Vihar without prior environmental clearance.

The elevated Barapulla flyover in Delhi will be extended from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar, further improving connectivity between the capital's eastern and southern suburbs.
