The National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the Delhi government and the city police chief over a man dying after his car fell off an unattended under-construction stretch of the Barapullah elevated road in the national capital.

A 13-year-old boy and his mother were killed and three others injured after a speeding car hit an auto-rickshaw they were travelling in on the Barapullah flyover in southeast Delhi, police said on Saturday.

In a tragic accident, two people died - one of them thrown off a flyover 40 feet high and another crushed to death - after they were hit by an iron grille dislodged as a speeding truck rammed into it on the Barapullah flyover connecting south and east Delhi, police said on Thursday.
