Basavaraj Bommai took oath as Karnataka Chief Minister today, succeeding BS Yediyurappa who resigned on Monday. Mr Bommai was sworn-in by the Governor in a brief ceremony in state capital Bengaluru. Mr Yediyurappa was present on the stage.
