Bellary Byelection

Karnataka By-Elections: Karnataka will be voting today in a crucial set of by-elections that will test the Congress-JDS coalition in the state. Voting for three Lok Sabha and two assembly seats will be held today starting 7 am. Congress and JDS have fielded joint candidates in all the seats.

Claiming that the BJP government in Karnataka would fall anytime in the wake of the party's humiliating defeat in the recent Bellary Rural byelection, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy today asked party workers to gear up for Assembly elections.

All preparations are in place for the counting of votes for the Bellary byelection that was held on November 30. Counting will begin at 8 am in the Government Polytechnic College, here, on December 4.
