IIFA Utsavam honours the best talent across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. The first day of the event was dedicated to Tamil and Malayalam films

"Visaranai was selected out of the 29 films that were in the race," said Film Federation of India secretary general Supran Sen

"The makers are planning to offer a double treat to the audience and unveil particular content from the sequel which can be released on the actor's birthday"

At the first edition of IIFA Utsavam, which honoured the best talent across Tamil and Malayalam film industries, director S S Rajamouli's Baahubali won six awards including the Best Direction and Best Picture. Actor Sathyaraj won the Best Supporting Role Male trophy for the role of Kattappa

Mahesh Babu won the best actor for the Telugu movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, while Nayantara bagged the best actress trophy for her perforamnce in the Tamil film Raja Rani for the year 2013 at the star-studded 61st Filmfare Awards southern edition.

After having bagged the Best Tamil Film award at the 57th national film awards recently, Pasanga will now be screened at Chinese Film Fest.
