Betul's baby Aradhana passes away, was conjoined twin till recently

Aradhana, one of the twin sisters from Betul in Madhya Pradesh, who were joined from the chest since birth and were separated after a complex operation last month, died today after two heart attacks. Aradhana and her twin sister Stuti had celebrated their first birthday on Monday.

The joy of the new parents was short-lived, as they soon realized that they not only have got twins but that they are conjoined twins. The poverty stricken parents decided to hand them over to the Padhar hospital in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, expressing inability to bear the medical expenses of their daughters.
