Seven persons, including three women, were on Friday killed and nine others injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and truck in Bilhaur area in Kanpur, police said.

Monica (20) ended her life on Tuesday by hanging herself in her house in Bilhaur area of the district, they said.The deceased had lost her parents a few years ago and was living with her relative, police said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem and further probe into the matter is on.
