Scientists may be closer than ever to solving the problem of creating easily recyclable and reusable plastics. A group of researchers have created a new bioplastic that can disintegrate into its derivative components upon a disintegrate “command”. The derivatives can then be reused to make high-quality biopolymers for various uses.
