The four people arrested from Mumbai in connection with the Birbhum killings were brought back to Kolkata this morning by the CBI, an official said.

The BJP MPs from Bengal are expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi over breakfast on Wednesday to discuss the law an order situation in Bengal in the aftermath of the massacre in Birbhum.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has named 22 people as accused in the Birbhum massacre case in which eight people were beaten and burnt alive earlier this week. The list of accused is the same as that of the state police.

Birbhum Violence: The eight people, including three women and two children, who were burnt alive in Bogtui village in West Bengal's Birbhum district were badly beaten up before the carnage, their post-mortem or forensic examination has revealed.
