Bjp On Sp Candidate List

Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday took a swipe at Samajwadi Party (SP) saying that mafia in Uttar Pradesh can only be found in jails or candidate list of the party.

Sources in the Samajwadi Party said the BJP's latest attacks are yet another attempt at polarising the crucial state election which is beginning from the western part of the state in less than 3 weeks.

With the race for Rashtrapati Bhawan hotting up, sources have told NDTV that former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam is on the list of probable candidates for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The development comes on a day when Samajwadi Party (SP) once again put its weight behind Dr Kalam for the President's post.
