In the last two parliamentary elections, the Congress has not won a single seat in Rajasthan - whether or not it was in power in the state. The BJP wants to keep it that way.

The BJP, which won 24 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan where it had lost the 2018 assembly polls to the Congress, saw its vote share increase from 54.94 per cent in 2014 to 58.5 per cent in this general election.
