Bollywood Producer Detained

Bollywood producer Prakash Chandani, who is under the watch of the police for his alleged role in an Indian Premier League (IPL) betting racket, was today detained by the immigration officials at Sardar Vallabhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad and later handed over to the police.

Director Vasan Bala, who was at the 65th Cannes Film Festival for the screening of his film Peddlers, was detained at the Mumbai airport.
