Signed by Assocham secretary DS Rawat, the letter says, "We find ourselves in a situation where half-baked cases are being slapped against top leaders of the industry and retired bureaucrats based on perceptions, interpretations and mere inferences."

IAS officer's wife being investigated for allegedly slapping police woman

A police woman in Bangalore has alleged that an IAS officer's wife beat her up on Sunday when she was trying to do her job. The police inspector, Anjumala T. Naik, claims that the bureaucrat's wife has just one pass to watch a cricket match. But she insisted on being accompanied by her daughter for the match which featured local celebrities.
