Bus-lorry Accident

Thirteen people were killed and 17 others injured in a collision between a bus and a lorry on a national highway near Voddenahalli in Kolar district of Karnataka today, police said.

45 people, including 25 women, were injured when their bus was involved in a collision with two sand-laden lorries near Salem in Tamil Nadu today, police said.

A woman died and 20 people were injured when the bus, in which they were travelling, collided with a tipper-lorry, police said. The private bus was going to Cuddalore from Puducherry when the accident took place near Kanganankuppam village.
