Braving the scorching sun, about 30 per cent of 13.82 lakh voters Sunday had cast their vote by noon in seven assembly constituencies of Andhra Pradesh, including six in the Telangana region, an official said.

Andhra Pradesh BJP would decide on contesting the by-elections to seven assembly constituencies, scheduled for the next month, tomorrow. Party's core committee meeting would be held here tomorrow in which the decision would be taken in consultation with the central leadership, former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya told reporters here today.

TRS today announced the names of candidates for the assembly constituencies in Telangana region for the March 18 bypolls. The candidates are Jupally Krishna Rao (Kollapur), T Rajaiah (Station Ghanpur), Jogu Ramanna (Adilabad), Gampa Govardhan (Kamareddy) and Syed Ibrahim (Mahabubnagar), TRS members said.
