The Supreme Court on Wednesday held that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) should take rigid action against those banks and financial institutions which have been indulging in "disreputable business practices" and said it cannot withhold information on defaulters and other issues covered under the RTI Act.

The Centre on Wednesday reiterated its stand that privacy was not a fundamental right, while contesting a bunch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the Aadhaar scheme on the ground of violation of citizens' right to privacy.

Nine closed circuit cameras have been installed at the five gates of the Madras High Court and other places in the complex as part of the second phase of comprehensive security system in the wake of the terrorist attack on Delhi High Court last year.
