In a case similar to Mumbai's Campa Cola housing society, a Delhi court has declined to return government land to a man who had bought a flat which was constructed illegally and was later demolished by Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Bringing an end to a three day stand-off, the residents of Campa Cola housing society today finally gave in to Supreme Court's orders and allowed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials to enter the premises tomorrow and disconnect electricity, water and gas pipeline connections.
