The police have arrested a 35- year-old man in connection with two of the three murder cases that were reported within 24-hours last week, a senior officer said Friday.

Padma Shri awardee Daitari Naik, who claims he is struggling to make ends meet, has denied reports that he is planning to return the prestigious award. Mr Naik was awarded a Padma Shri for single-handedly carving a three-kilometre-long canal from a mountain stream in Odisha.
