Capsules With Heroin

A woman from Uganda was caught at Mumbai international airport with 535 grams of heroin packed in 49 capsules and 175 grams of cocaine in 15 capsules, a Narcotics Control Bureau official said on Friday.

A woman was arrested at the IGI Airport for allegedly trying to smuggle 51 capsules containing 501 grams of heroin which she had swallowed, a customs official said on Thursday.

Customs officials at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport recovered a total of 91 capsules containing approximately 998 grams of suspected heroin worth around Rs 6.986 crore from a Ugandan national, who has been arrested.

Five Afghanistan nationals have been arrested at the Delhi airport for allegedly ingesting 370 heroin capsules worth Rs 15 crore. They were carrying the banned substance from Kandahar, officials said.

Colombian police said Monday that they had arrested a family of four, including a teenager, that were together carrying 91 cocaine and heroin capsules in their stomachs.
