Hyderabad Software Exports Association (HYSEA) on Thursday announced the launch of 'Share a Seat' campaign to encourage people to share the vacant seats in their vehicles with people, who are waiting at bus stops, company gates or walking in scorching sunlight.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government on Thursday sought cooperation from the Centre and the Lt Governor in its efforts to curb pollution in the national capital, with initiatives like observance of 'car-free day'.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is practicing riding a cycle - in preparation for the city's first Car Free Day, or rather, morning. On Thursday, when cars will not be allowed to ply in the stretch between India Gate and Red Fort from 7 am to mid-day, Mr Kejriwal and his ministers will hold a cycle rally.

The morning rush hour was unusually cheerful for commuters who took the bus to work in Cyberabad, the IT hub of Hyderabad. "Thank you for taking the bus," commended a wave of placards attached to techies, committed to changing the world offline as well.
