Cash Gold Liquor Seized Telangana

The enforcement agencies of the state and the Centre have seized cash, gold, liquor, drugs, and freebies worth Rs 603 crore since the release of the schedule for the upcoming Telangana elections, the office of the Chief Electoral Officer said.

The Enforcement agencies have seized cash, gold, liquor and freebies worth over Rs 480 crore in Telangana till Saturday after the model code of conduct came into force in the state on October 9.

The Election Commission has seized a total of Rs 439 crore worth cash, gold, liquor and other possible inducements, since the model code of conduct came into force in the state on October 9.

Unaccounted cash, gold and other valuables and freebies worth over Rs 165 crore were seized in poll-bound Telangana till Wednesday as part of enforcement of model code of conduct which came into force in the state on October 9.
