The HRD Ministry is deliberating upon whether or not to conduct pending class 12 board exams for students in CBSE schools abroad and is talking to ambassadors or foreign education ministers to arrive at a reasonable solution in view of the COVID-19 situation in their respective countries.

CBSE has decided to not to conduct any pending examinations for the affiliated schools outside the country. There are several CBSE schools located in 25 countries.

The second phase will begin after the board results are declared. The board had roped in a total of 87 counsellors, comprising 65 from India, two special educators and 22 from foreign schools.

Several students, using social media, have also written to both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, and requested their intervention.

Aadhaar number will no longer be required for online registration of students in CBSE schools abroad for board examination and other purposes.

CBSE class 10 board examinees of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have launched a petition at change.org for 'Lenient correction for AISSE Math Paper Foreign Set 30/ 2/ (1,2,3,4)'.
