The Haryana Police have arrested seven people for allegedly looting parcels, worth lakhs of rupees, of a major e-commerce company from a truck in Faridabad.

A jewellery showroom in the posh Sector 17 market of Chandigarh was today looted in daylight by a group of two women and a man. At gunpoint, the trio, who posed as customers, not only robbed jewellery worth crores, but also took the CCTV footage which could identify them.

A 35-year old IAS aspirant is one of the eight people arrested by Mohali police in connection with a robbery of Rs. 1.34 crores on Monday, when masked robbers forcibly took over a bank's cash van from two security guards at a gunpoint on Patiala highway.

In a brazen daylight robbery, a gunman was caught on camera firing at a man inside a jewellery shop in Chandigarh before walking away with the loot worth Rs 5 lakh.

The Chandigarh police has released security camera footage of a gang of 20 men who broke into a Tanishq showroom on January 12.  They were in police uniform.The thieves left with 15 crores of jewellery. Because their faces were covered, the police has not been able to identify any of them.Watch the CCTV footage here.
