Cheetah Gives Birth

A female cheetah is pregnant and expected to deliver cubs soon at the Kuno National Park (KNP) in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur district.

A five-year-old cheetah, brought to the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh from South Africa as part of an ambitious reintroduction project, has given birth to five cubs, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav said today.

Four cubs have been born to one of the cheetahs translocated to India from Namibia, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said today.
