BJP may quit parliamentary panel on 2G over refusal to summon Chidambaram

The parliament panel examining the 2G spectrum scam has finished gathering evidence and will not summon P Chidamabaram or any other minister to depose before it after all. The BJP, which had demanded that the Home Minister depose, is likely to come good on its threat to walk out of the committee.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm as the Opposition demanded Mr Chidambaram's resignation for his alleged role in the telecom scam.
