Twenty-nine of the 30 incumbent Chief Ministers are crorepatis with Andhra Pradesh's Jagan Mohan Reddy having the highest assets totalling Rs 510 crore, according to poll affidavits analysed by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR).

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who is seeking a re-election from Mukto Assembly seat for the third consecutive term, is the richest among 184 candidates contesting the state polls, with assets worth more than Rs 163 crore, according to an election watchdog report.

While West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee may claim her Trinamool Congress to be the party of the poor, more than half of the members of her 42-strong ministry are 'crorepatis' (multimillionaires) with Rs 3.3 crore being the average assets.
