26 Children Rescued In Hyderabad, 8 Arrested For Child Trafficking

As many as 26 children hailing from West Bengal and Jharkhand, who were being brought to Hyderabad allegedly to work as labourers were rescued and eight "traffickers" were arrested at the Secunderabad Railway Station here, the Telangana Police said.

A 14-year-old girl from Jharkhand is enjoying her days in freedom. In March last year, she was rescued from a home in Delhi's Dwarka where she spent eight months as a domestic help, while the doctor couple who had allegedly locked her up were holidaying in Thailand.
