"People Will Suffer Like Demonetisation": Trinamool MP Nusrat Jahan On TikTok Ban

Trinamool Congress MP Nusrat Jahan has raised concerns over the "strategic plan" of banning the TikTok app. The centre banned 59 apps amid a huge economic backlash against China following the June 15 clashes in eastern Ladakh's Galwan Valley in which 20 soldiers laid down their lives for India.

World Bank on GDP Growth: In 2017, China with 6.9 per cent growth was marginally ahead of India's 6.7 per cent, mainly because the slowdown in the Indian economy due to demonetisation and implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the report said.
