Chinese Driverless Cars Road Test

Adding its name to the front runners for driverless cars, Chinese tech giant Baidu today pronounced it aim to initiate mass-production of driverless cars in 5 years in an endeavour to one-up rivals like Google and Tesla Motors.

Two self-driving cars produced by a Chinese firm completed a 2,000-km journey in China's first long-distance road test for autonomous vehicles in a bid to stay ahead of Google and others in developing driverless car technology.
