When the city was busy making preparations to catch some sleep after celebrating Christmas this year, an all-night musical tribute to the 2004 Tsunami victims began at Spaces in Besant Nagar. Organised by the Prakriti Foundation, the event began with the performance of ace pianist Anil Srinivasan.

Tamil star Dhanush added to the Christmas celebrations in Kolkata, when he performed his raging hit Kolaveri Di to thousands of screaming fans.
