Church Attack Raipur

The Centre today sought a report from Chhattisgarh government on the vandalisation of a church near Raipur and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said the guilty will not be spared.

A day after the arrest of nine men, the Chhattisgarh Christian Forum released a cellphone video to the media, claiming it contained footage of Sunday's attack on a church in Raipur. The video shows a group of men vandalizing furniture.

Around 25 men entered a church in Raipur's Kachna area today during a prayer service, beat up the people inside and vandalised the church premises.
