Tamil Nadu Board Results 2022: Class 12 Students Register 93.76 Pass Percentage, Class 10 Achieve 90.07%

The performance of the Class 12 students this year was better than in 2020 when a pass percentage of 92.3 percent was recorded. About 47 students scored centum in language paper in Class 12 exam, while 4 scored 100 marks in English paper.

Class 10 Board Exams Cancelled In Tamil Nadu, Puducherry; All Students Promoted

In both Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, 80% marks would be based on students' performance in quarterly and half yearly exams and the remaining 20% shall depend on their attendances. The exams for certain Class 11 subjects which could not be held earlier were also cancelled in both the states.

Madras High Court Exempts 7327 Candidates From Writing Tamil Language Paper

The Madras High Court yesterday directed Tamil Nadu Education Department to exempt students of linguistic minority schools from appearing in Tamil language paper. The High Court bench issued the directions in response to petitions filed by Linguistic Minority Schools Management and individual students.
