The Indian tablet market witnessed growth on a quarter-on-quarter basis in the last quarter of 2023. CMR in their Tablet PC Market Report Review for Q4 2023 noted that the tablet shipments for Q4 2023 grew, driven by a strong demand for 5G tablets. Some of the leading tablet brands as per the report were Apple, Lenovo and Samsung.

The tablet PC market in India grew 22 percent quarter-on-quarter in July-September with demand for 5G capable devices picking up the steam, CyberMedia Research said on Monday. Samsung led the market with a 28 percent market share, followed by Lenovo and Apple with 26 and 19 percent share, respectively, during the quarter.

Xiaomi led the Indian smartphone market during the April-June 2022 quarter, according to a Cyber Media Research (CMR) report. The Chinese firm managed to top the Indian market, despite a 22 percent decline in its sales volume. Samsung topped the 5G smartphone segment, while Apple dominated the super-premium segment, according to the report.
