Cops Chases Purse Snatcher

A thief running away with a woman's purse in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida was chased down by a traffic police constable on foot after a pursuit of nearly a kilometer, officials said on Thursday.

A bike-borne robber was arrested after he and his accomplice shot and injured a policeman near Geeta colony in east Delhi on Sunday. Saleem, 32, was arrested and his motorcycle was seized. His accomplice managed to flee.
