Counsel Sacked Rajasthan

The Congress government in Rajasthan has sacked one of its counsels in the Supreme Court after it emerged that she was the Advocate on Record in a contempt plea against Rahul Gandhi filed by BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi on the Rafale deal.

Senior counsel Raju Subramanium, appearing for the former BCCI chief, argued that sacked IPL chairman Lalit Modi took all the decisions regarding IPL and Manohar was not involved in day-to-day affairs of the cricket board and IPL governing council.
