The stock of Coronavirus vaccine in the national capital will last for another eight days, according to a vaccination bulletin issued by the Delhi government today.

With 2,77,870 doses left in Delhi's Covid vaccine bank on Monday morning, the vaccine stock will last for less than a day, according to a bulletin issued by the city government.

The youth of Delhi is now travelling 100 km to get vaccinated as it has been two weeks since the stock of Covishield and Covaxin vaccines depleted in the national capital for the 18-44 age group, AAP leader and MLA Atishi said on Sunday.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday said if the Delhi government could not ensure that people will get both the doses of Covaxin within the stipulated time, then it should not have started so many vaccination centres with "much pomp and splendour".

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Atishi Tuesday said Delhi is left with only three days' stock of Covishield vaccine for the 18-44 age group, and if more doses are not supplied the vaccination drive for this category will have to be stopped in the city.

Delhi received over 60,000 Covaxin doses for those above 45 years, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi said Tuesday, adding that the city still has only two days of Covaxin stock for this age group.

Delhi has only one day of COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin sock left for beneficiaries aged 45 years and above, while Covishield stock will last for five days for the same group of beneficiaries, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Atishi Marlena informed on Sunday.

People under the age of 45 won't get shots of Covaxin from tomorrow with limited stocks left for the next four days, the government has said, urging the central government to ensure uninterrupted supplies.

Delhi has run out of its Covaxin stock for people in the 18-44 age group and as many as 125 vaccination centres will have to be shut from Wednesday if fresh supply is not received, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi said.
