Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday reported its highest daily death count due to Covid, recording 108 deaths over the past 24 hours. The state also reported 20,345 new Covid cases amid a devastating second wave of infections in the country.

The Andhra Pradesh government will pay Rs 2,000 to every discharged COVID 19 patient for buying nutritious food. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in a meeting with state officials on Sunday decided financial aid of Rs 2,000 will be given to those who have recovered from the disease.
