Covid Patient Escapes From Hospital

A 55-year-old Coronavirus patient has escaped from the COVID ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, police said on Wednesday.

A 20-year-old woman, who had tested positive for coronavirus at AIIMS in Delhi, allegedly escaped from the hospital, even as her husband filed a missing person's complaint despite knowing her whereabouts, the police said on Wednesday.

A 57-year-old coronavirus patient, who was caught on camera walking out of a state-run hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj city just 24 hours after he was admitted to the facility, was found dead on Sunday evening. His body was found in bushes, just 500 metres away from the hospital.
