Crane Overturns In Delhi

Scores of people were seen standing atop an overturned bus waiting to be rescued in Haryana in one of the many scenes of despair across north India which has been hit by monsoon fury.

A few people were injured and some vehicles were damaged on Sunday evening after a crane overturned on them at the under-construction site of the Delhi-Saharanpur highway passing through North East Delhi.

A crane at a Delhi Metro construction site toppled and fell on an autorickshaw in south-east Delhi, injuring the auto-driver, police said on Wednesday.

In yet another accident at the Metro rail construction site in New Delhi, two cranes overturned at Mehrauli Metro site on Saturday.
