A 65-year-old seasoned cyclist in Australia was fined 152 dollars for passing on the left of an unmoving car, a media report said today.

Disgraced former cyclist Lance Armstrong, who admitted taking performance-enhancing drugs in 2013 after being stripped of seven Tour de France triumphs the year before, posted a cheque for $238.50 (209.50 euros) to pay a fine and court costs, according to court records.

Japan's cyclists Seiichiro Nakagawa and Tomoyuki Kawabata rode a victory lap with Nakagawa wearing the Japanese flag as a cape and Kawabata, 29, holding a corner so it stretched between them at the Asian Games after winning gold and silver respectively.
