Twenty six-year-old Wakas Ibrahim Shaikh, an accused in the 13/7 terror blasts case, definitely thinks so. He allegedly underwent a laser operation to get rid of his glasses, in a bid to disguise his look three months after the terror attack which occurred at the Opera House, Zaveri Bazaar, and Dadar (west).

Ravindra Sohoni, a resident of Pandit Niwas building, which is right next to where the blast took place at Kabutar Khana, Dadar lives with his wife recounts their initial reactions to the explosion. "We have had a close shave with death and survived and we are grateful to God," said Sohoni.

The Maruti Esteem you saw on TV, left damaged by the blast at Dadar yesterday evening, wasn't carrying the bomb, contrary to speculation. Bearing the number MH43A 9384, it was on its way to drop its passengers home: a mason, a painter, and the car's owner and driver, Deepak Patel (37).
