Dalai Lama On Covid

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Thursday embarked on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, marking his first official tour outside his base in Dharamshala since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Making his first public appearance after over two years since the outbreak of Covid, the Dalai Lama on Friday said that he is in good health and can "even play boxing with the doctor".

People must come together to overcome global threats, including COVID-19, Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama has said.

The Dalai Lama on Wednesday said that the ongoing global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic was a "lesson in universal responsibility" being taught to human beings by the mother earth.
